In my late teens I worked some seasons lawn mowing around my hometown and the county. That's why I have divided feelings to the song "Green Green Grass Of Home". A great tune, but the grass actually may be greener elsewhere. Not least when it comes to forced gender roles. Striking a note from Curly Putmans classic hit I give you three and a half minute of love-hate to the hometown.
